AAGIWA is the national association representing official grain inspection and weighing agencies.
The official grain inspection and weighing system is a unique partnership comprised of Federal, State, and private partners serving customers across the Nation. AAGIWA represents the state and private partners, authorized by FGIS, to provide official inspection and weighing services to the grain industry on their behalf.
AAGIWA members are federally-licensed state agencies, designated agencies, and suppliers. These agencies provide official inspection services to measure the quality and quantity of grain being bought and sold in the United States.
AAGIWA is proud of it's diverse membership of small agency operations, state agencies, mid-large size private agencies, and our supplier members. Read about our featured members to learn more of their history as well as current operations.
AAGIWA holds an Annual Meeting once a year to provide in-depth coverage of industry issues. The Annual Meeting is open to members and non-members. Additionally, the Board of Directors meet every September. This meeting is open to members.
